Deciding on a Band Name

Today our group sat down and brainstormed band names. This is a picture of my brainstorm that I created. I came up with the idea of the band name 'Candy Rain' as it is young, fresh, sweet and has vibrant/colourful connotations. This matches our band perfectly as they are young and fresh with a unique element of representing individual colours. I'm going to spell the name as 'Kandy Rayn' as it represents how the girls are different and unique. We decided that the album is going to be called 'Love Enigme' (enigma). Zarah suggested this album name, which relates to our band's song 'Be There' as the girls experience love occurrances which have a profound effect on them, as they continue to remember the intimate encounter they have with Ally and thus revisit the location of their meeting.

I added the associations in purple later on at home which I think is important to do because they help to develop and establish an image and presence for your band e.g. 'Kandy Rayn' has colourful connotations, and is vibrant, young, fresh and sweet. Henceforth, these are elements I need to consider for when I create my digipak and album magazine advert as they represent our band.
